Employer e-Sewa | EPF India
EPF India or EPFO has started a new service named as ‘Employer e-Sewa' for the employers. This is to produce improved services for its subscribers under its computerisation project. This service will be effective from 1st April 2012. Under this scheme, employers will get online receipt of Electronic Challan cum Receipt (ECR).
Shri Ajeet Kumar (RPFC -1) of Sub Regional PF Office, Visakhapatnam announces to all the establishment under his jurisdiction from Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts to create their user ID and password through the portal available at the ‘home page' of the EPFO website epfindia.com under the caption ‘Employer e-Sewa'.
Registered employers can upload the electronic return and the uploaded return data will be displayed through a digitally signed copy in PDF format.
The employer may choose to make the payment through Internet banking of SBI or take a print out of the challan and pay at the designated branch of SBI.
Any remittance to be made by the employer has to be done only after generating challan from the employer portal of EPFO with effect from April 1, 2012. The employer has to upload the ECR in the pre-specified format and the challan will be populated on the basis of uploaded return in case of the wage month of March 2012.
Employers can view/read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) for any queries and the file format for ECR on the said portal.
The registration of the establishments by the respective employers has commenced on March 20, Mr. Ajeet Kumar added.
